VISION

A vision statement is simply a one to two sentence summary of what you’d like to accomplish with your worksite wellness program, a destination of where you’d like to arrive. It can include your organization’s core philosophies.

SAMPLE VISIONS:

  • The vision of the _______Employee Wellness Initiative is to become a resource for _____ employees in achieving healthier lifestyles.

  • Make (City name) the most livable and best managed City by providing courteous and quality services through teamwork, innovation, and a total Commitment to Excellence.

  • To develop a wellness program that encourage employees’ to improve their personal and professional productivity and physical, mental, social, and community wellbeing.

  • To foster a healthy, happy and productive workforce so that we can perform to the best of our ability in order to be a best-in-class provider of education to our students.

  • To promote a worksite culture that supports healthy lifestyle choices by valuing individual health and creating a supportive community.

BRAND

Developing a brand out of your wellness program will include having a wellness program name and logo, a vision statement and a marketing and communications plan that creates a buzz. This should include written, oral and electronic methods of communication.

Establish a consistent look and message with all marketing communications pieces including flyers, posters, emails and displays will help to create your overall brand. Think out of the box, have fun and be strategic.
